Primary and Secondary School Tours

In 2016 we introduced curriculum based learning via our ‘Learning the Landscape Educational Series’ of school tours for Primary, Second and Third level students. To celebrate and promote Seachtain na Gaeilge our island crew will host your school and give you a very informed and enjoyable cruise under the magical Cliffs Of Moher– all in Irish or English. See & learn how these magnificent cliffs were formed 450 million years ago! We’ll teach you about the Marine Environment and the Migrating Seabird Colonies that arrive every year to nest and feed their young. You will also get to see the cave featured in ‘Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince’!

“Our School Tour with St. John ‘s College of Inis Meáin to the Cliffs of Moher with The Doolin Ferry Company was one of the peak points of the academic year. We launched on an educational journey made of beauty and calming aspects to see nature in full swing. The sights were magical, teachers and students were both enthralled by the wonders of the Cliffs of Moher from the bottom. The crew was most obliging and it was clear that they were proud of this beautiful experience to share. Great School class trip!
